Slush @ Helsinki


Described by many as “Burning Man meets TED”, Slush brings together the leading actors of the global tech scene to Helsinki for something very special.

Last year, Slush had 17,500 attendees, including 2,300 startups, 1,100 investors and 610 journalists, together representing over 120 countries. One of the French startups, CybelAngel, won the famous Slush pitching competition out of 1,700 applicants. This competition showcases the best early-stage startups.

With more than 20 highly promising French startups, in AI, Medcare, IoT, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Marketing and many more – 1 of them pitching in Slush 100 for the startup title of the year – 8 high-level speakers on Slush stages, and an unmissable French Tech Polar Night for startups, media, investors and influencers, La French Tech is prepping to make its on the Finnish scene.

Thursday November 30th

8am-6pm: French Tech startups Allomedia, Domalys, Move’n see, Optinvent and Tilkee, showcase their innovations at the French Tech Pavilion

7pm-11pm: French Tech Polar Night – La French Tech warms up the atmosphere at the Steam Hellsinki for a festive and experiential evening, in the presence of Pia Santavirta, CEO Finnish Venture Capital Association and Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of Bpifrance, the French public investment bank. Concert by electric Finnish band Mister Sushi and an incredible live sound experience with SUPRALIVE by Augmented Acoustics.
